Mariah's previously cancelled TRL appearance has been rescheduled to Monday, April 28th! Mariah will be stopping by the MTV Studios in Times Square to promote her album and premiere the music video to "Bye Bye". We want her biggest fans supporting her and you may even get the opportunity to meet her!

Hits Daily Double (HDD) collects sales reports from music retailers and builds a weekly sales chart based on these reports. This week, after a final tally, they report Mariah's E=MC² is the #1 selling CD with 475,607 copies sold. According to the HDD chart, the #2 CD sold 90,485 copies this week.The HDD report is not official and should only be used as an estimate/approximation for the amount of copies the album's sold and its position on the chart. The official SoundScan numbers and the Billboard position will be released tomorrow.

As previously reported, an official remix for "Touch My Body" by DJ David Morales has been scrapped because Mariah was unable to record new vocals for it due to scheduling problems. Morales expressed his disappointment because he loved the idea for the remix and it had received great response.Due to popular demand, Morales has now made his unofficial 'Stereo Mix' version of "Touch My Body" available for listening on his MySpace blog. Enjoy!

Debuting at number 3 on sales of 34,769, E=MC² is Mariah Carey's highest charting album since 1997, when Butterfly fluttered to number two on first week sales of 28,758. The new album - from which introductory single Touch My Body reached number five last week - is Carey's third Def Jam effort, following 2002's Charmbracelet, which reached number 52, and 2005's The Emancipation Of Mimi. Despite Charmbracelet's low peak, it has sold 122,010, easily beating disastrous predecessor, Glitter, Carey's only (2001) Virgin album, which reached number 10 but has sold only 54,645 copies. The Emancipation Of Mimi has sold 621,352 copies.

South Korea
E=MC² is #1 on Hanteo's International Album chart for South Korea. Both album versions combined (regular + deluxe version) sold 1,693 copies in the debut week. The Emancipation of Mimi sold 10,343 for the month in South Korea, debuting at #3 on the monthly international chart.
